Recently I met several unsound drivers!!!!!
I was driving in my lane(middle) when I encountered a driver who was driving at torturous speed of 40 km/hr. He was practically ccrrrraaawwllliiinngg. Thus I flashed him with my headlights. (Maybe I shouldn't have done so because he had the right to hog lanes since he was not in lane 1 but I was in a bad mood after what happened in the morning in car park.Read story below)) He then moved to the left so I drove quickly to take his spot. Suddenly, he swerved into my lane. I horned him and instinctively checked my right. To my horror, there was a car there too so I could not swerve there. Luckily when I horned him, he immediately went back to his lane. Then, the traffic light turned red and he drove to my right and stoppped beside me and scolded me but I could not hear a word he said. Why? He had no guts to wind down his window . I was so infuriated that I wound down the window and shouted at him. "You dunno how to drive is it? Swerve into my lane.....wind down the window lah COWARD!!!" He continued ranting but with his windows jam shut. Is this man dense or what? He thinks I have superhearing!!! I then shook my head at him(men hate it when women drivers do that to them because they think they are superior but there are so many lousy male drivers out there too) and showed him the L sign which stands for LOSER!!!! I then wound up my window and glared at him.
Then the traffic light turned green. There were four lanes. I was in lane 3, the loser was lane 2 and this van was in lane 1. The van drove up to him and the passenger in the van glared at him and shook his head at him. They must have witnessed the whole scene and found the LOSER a LOSER too....haha.. serves him right!
Sigh... on the same morning before this incident happened, I met an unreasonable couple in the car park. I was about to drive off when this stupid red car drove up and parked his stinking red piece of junk in front of me. I flashed him to let him know that he was blocking my way! He did not respond so I blasted my horn lightly. He turned around and stared at me. Then the passeger car opened and out popped a lady who as she was walking to the void deck, glared at me. I was like what are you staring at???? So what if you are carrying a child? If your stinking hubby had just waved an apology, I would patiently wait for him to move off. He ignored me like it was my fault and then reversed like a turtle into a parking lot beside me, causing me even more delay.
My parents witnessed the whole scene ( they like to spy on me as I make my way to my car every morning hehe) and said I should not have horned him but they concurred that when I flashed him, he could have just move his car forward. There was so much empty space. That idiot had to park directly in front of me. Such stupidity!!!!
Recently, I changed my class seating arrangement. Since Rohit left, we have 39 pupils and I miss him. The class seems so quiet without him. During EL lessons, he will always volunteer the answers. Now when I ask a question, silence ensues... No rohit.. sigh..
Anyway, I thought my pupils could sit in threes then no one would be left out. My pupils were elated to hear my announcement... more bonding time for them which is good. However, I have a concern and that is they would turn ultra chatty and neglect their studies. Some pupils just lack self-discipline and don't know when to keep quiet. I made them solemnly promise me that they would be quiet during lessons. The minute I receive a complaint, I would revert to our old seating arrangement. Let's see if they can keep their promise!

You can say I am morbid but sometimes I wonder what people would say at my funeral. Would I be someone who has touched their hearts? Would I be fondly remembered? Would I be missed? Life is short! I always believe in living life to the fullest. My parents always nag at me for getting my car. They claimed that I would have saved a lot more if I had gotten a nondescript car. But I tell them that I am young only once! I don't want to drive a cool car when I am old with a bad back. How am I going to climb into the car seat?
Even if I am terminally ill, I would not drown myself in self-pity. I will keep it to myself and continue to live life as I normally do. I would probably do the things that I have always wanted to do but have not been able to do so. I would probably tell the people that I love how much they mean to me. I would hold my dogs close to me and spend whatever time I have with them. I would also spend time with my best friends and my family. I have a close-knit family. I always look froward to meeting my cousins for dinner and movie. We would joke, catch up and just relish one another's company. There is so much love and mutual respect. We truly care for one another.
So if I were to go abruptly one day, don't feel sad for me because I feel that I have lived a good life. Don't pity me. Don't smother me. Let me do what I love to do and just spend time with me. Laugh with me because everyone knows how much I love a good joke. Laugh with me because everyone knows how silly and nonsensical I can be.
Life is short. Live it to the fullest!

I am very proud of my class. They worked really hard to make the play a success. This is the first time that I did not have to contribute much to the play. In the past I have to see to everything from script writing, to sound and music to directing. I had to attend all rehearsals if not the class will not stay back to practise.. remember all that ex 5B... But I had a blast then too.
This time, I merely helped with the script and dished out some advice. My class is quite creative. The props were rather cool and the acting was good. I am also pleased at how cooperative everyone was to make the play a success. Hip hip hooray to 31.. a Class I have grown to adore.
Anyway, I have been busy lately.. busy trying to recover from a severe bout of flu. My nose was like a faulty tap, constantly leaking and my throat was sore and hoarse. But I have the perfect remedy for sore throat. It is bitter needle tea. It is so bitter that you will need only ONE tea leave for a cup of water. I drank three cups when I realise that my throat was very sore and the next day, my throat was not so painful. But it didn't do anything for my nose. I have to stop drinking it though because I am asthmatic and drinking it on ordinary days can give me an asthma attack because apparently it is too 'cooling'.
Now, I am scrambling to finish marking my test papers. I didn't mark last week when I was sick. I slept the three days away when I was on medical leave and now I have to sprint really fast to catch up on my marking. Besides the Sec4 and 5 are sitting for their prelim exams soon and I am busy marking their scripts as well.
I have a new class: Sec 5B. They seem rather obedient and well-behaved. I hope they stay that way. The 'O' levels are coming and if they are not serious about English, they would regret it thoroughly. Only 69% of the Sec 5 cohort passed English last year. Those who did not score at least a D7 could not enter the polytechnics, much to their dismay and chagrin. I hope everyone in 5B will pull through. :)
