I am so busy. I have so many garments( since CNY till now) to hand wash... The floor has not been mopped since CNY(not becos I am superstitious) and my study room is a mess. There is dust everywhere. I just managed to clean my bedroom yesterday. There're so much scripts to mark. I have marked a few scripts from all my classes such that I dun have one complete set of scripts marked. Sigh...
But I am still excited becos I am going to pay the Night Safari a vist this week. Yippeee. I love animals.
Today, in school I had to call parents of errant pupils to inform them of their children's performance in school. It was good that all the parents are quite serious about whipping their children into shape. The 'O' level is approaching. I hope the pupils could be more serious about their studies. Dun let everyone who love you down.

Hey hey it's Thinking day! Can you imagine I have the same birthday as the founders of Girl Guides. Thus, guess what I have to don the Guider uniform every year on my Bday!I wish I can wear something prettier... It's my day u know.
22/2 - Anyway I had a hard day at school. I was so busy, scrambling for time to finish writing my pupils' testimonial that I had to skip going out for lunch( something that I really enjoy). I had to get my pals to buy lunch for me. I was so stressed out becos any mistake on the testimonial will cost me $50 and I am not the most careful person on the planet.. sigh Also,
I had a meeting to rush to so I had very little time. I dun know why but whenever it's my birthday, I would be stressed out becos there are always so many deadlines on my birthday and instead of enjoying my day, I am scrambling to finish my work.
Fortunately my colleagues took some time out to celebrate my birthday with me despite our busyness. It was really sweet. It felt good to just take some time albeit a very short 10 min revelling in the joy of having your pals celebrate your birthday. Also, I received a really cool and beautiful watch for my B day. Love it :) I shall post some pictures of it soon.
On Sat 23/2, my good old pals from JC celebrated me and my hubby's birthday( he is born 2 days after me so I am older and WISER) at a nice restaurant,Picotin(my pals treated us to dinner).. quite a nice place with nice food but it took a LONG time for them to serve us our food. Luckily, the pizzas were really delectable.. yummy.. After our dinner, we went to Holland V to sip tea and play our favourite game SAboteur.. It's a ultra addictive and cool game that requires one to strategise and fool one's enemy. It's the IT game at the moment. We love that game! We played till 1 am before calling it a day. oh yah and Junie and Gee were so sweet. They got us really lovely gifts. I will post pictures of all my presents soon.
On 24/2 which was my hubby's Bday, we went to the gym then to Vivo for some shopping. didn't buy much except a a blouse which cost $49. It's such a steal;It used to cost $89.. :)
At night, we were supposed to visit the Night Safari but my hubby had work to complete so we opted to stay at home instead. My parents treated us to a nice dinner at Pow Sim and gave us red packets.. ka ching!!!!
What a busy weekend for me but I really had a good time :)

I am tired. I have so much WORK and this is a busy week for me. I have tons to mark, a musical to attend(so looking forward to it :), Guides Thinking day and I haven't bought my hubby's birthday present. sigh!!!! The sweltering heat is also giving me headaches; even the mighty panadol can't cure them!
Today, I stayed back with my class to work on the class play and I had so much fun (despite having a terrble headache). Zong Da is a perfect match for Li Tok Kong. He is really sporting and really made us laugh so hard. I am also immensely proud of my class. I have helped my classes with their class plays before but this is the first time I had almost full attendance( except or one no show) at a rehearsal! This is what I called Class unity and spirit. I am reall happy! Even when they had minor roles, they stayed back without complaints and were very good-spirited. We must learn to be patient with one another, give support and avoid giving harsh negative, hurtful words. Also we must put aside our egos. If someone has a brilliant suggestion, we should hear them out. Remember the ultimate goal is to stage a brilliant, exciting, funny play. It is not an aveune for us to show off and order people around. Also even if you have a minor role, you must put in your best because if you dun act well, everyone can see itl!
Anyway I am really pleased with 5B. I can sense that I have a better rapport with them now. The class spirit is stronger. Now all they have to do is to study harder and pay attention in class. Some of the pupils are still playful and not serious about their studies. I hope they will realise the importance of studying persistently hard for the whole year!

I had a great time last week celebrating CNY. I got to eat two steamboats in one nite. Isn't that cool! My hubby and I had a reunion dinner with my parents at 5 pm. I thoroughly enjoyed the fried noodles and fish maw soup. Then at 8 pm, my hubby and I get to eat again .. This time we were at his parents' place. I loved the quail eggs.. so yummy. What I like about my parents-in-law steamboat is that my MIL actually marinates the meat before we cook them in the steamboat. It was really tasty and tender.
The next day I did a lot of visiting.. gave out some ang pows. However, I was still rather sick. My nose was runny and my voice was still hoarse. In the evening, I gambled a little with my cousins and grandma and lost $5. My sis won the most -$20. We had fun teasing my cousins who sometimes only betted 10 cents and were even 'bankrupt'. I enjoyed myself thoroughly.
The next few days, I spent relaxing and did some shopping. I worked on Friday: I had to prepare slides for my presentation on Wed with Wan Cheng. I created 55 slides... took me ages to complete them. Previously I had already created 30 slides so I spent my Fri afternoon doing up the rest. I actually brought home some marking home because I am so behind my marking. I have been so ill that I couldn't even mark the past few weeks. However, after working on the slides, I was really exhausted.. didn't want to mark at all.
My relative from China visited us so we had to play host. On Sat, I brought him to Suntect city. He wanted to buy a PSB slim. He really liked it. We went to a few shops where he stood there admiring the PSB. However, I told him not to buy as I knew of a shop which had a better deal.
On Monday, after school, I brought him to AMKS hub to buy his PSB slim. He was mighty pleased with it.
This week, I am still busy as my parents want to lo hei many times so that we can have lots of good luck for the whole year! hehhe .. I am going to put on a lot of weight!! sigh...
