I was very angry with 3B today. They really made me mad. I took them to the com lab to watch the AMA presentations as their class com is down. Firstly, some of them were very playful and started to 'skate' around in the swivel chairs. That made me mad and I scolded them. The last 3 groups that were supposed to present were still not ready. I was so furious that I lost my cool and gave them a scolding. Then some other students had the cheek to play with the interactive whiteboard. I was mad. Today they were exceptionally naughty. Usually, although they may be cheeky, they will do their work. However, I think they are too laid-back and mischievous today.
I guess I must speak to some of them personally and even contact their parents. If this goes on, they will not benefit much in lessons. I also going to be stricter and mete out a 'scarier' punishment. I think they are taking my kindness for granted. I guess I must spell out more clearly the consequences of not following my instructions and mete out the punishments instead of giving them chances. No more nice guy! On Monday, I will unleash my fury upon those rascals. One consolation is that some of the 3B pupils are rather endearing like Hafeez and Fazdli whom I gave out 'Student of the Month' Awards to. There're also Xueting, Siti, Jia Jia, Felicia,Ya Yi, Mingyi, Yun Jie ,Choon Kian, Yong Ji, Sui Zheng and Shawn. They are conscientious, attentive and self-motivated. Thank God for them. They are the angels of 3B.
On a positive note, today the UG Council had the UG Council Ceremony, a prestigious event for all UGs in our school. The ceremony went on smoothly. Many of the ex-guides graced the event with their presence. Anna, Aurina, Audrey, Zijing, Grace thank you for making the effort to join us today.
I have been following Americal Idol very closely and I absolutely adore Adam Lambert. He is such a dynamic, engaging and consumate performer. He sings so well and has so much showmanship. He is cool!!!!! On a lighter note, I have also been lsitening to Fall Out Boy latest Cd
Folie á Deux. It's fantastic. I think it is their best album. I enjoy all the songs especially America's sweethearts, I don't care, Headfirst Slide Into Cooperstown On A Bad Bet, Disloyal Order of Water Buffaloes, 2o Dollar nosebleed. This is my favourite CD of the monent. The more I listen to it, the more I love it. The music is rocking good!!! Besides, new metal music, I enjoy pop, R and B, hip hop and mood music. I hate classical music. It gives me a headache. Someone once told me that it has been scientifically proven that classical music do give some listeners headache. So I am not alone!
These are some songs that I listen to when I drive. If I want to drive like race car driver, I listen to Linkin Park, Fall out Boy or the Tokyo Drift Too Fast Too Furious Soudtrack. If I have a annoying headache, I listen to mood music and sometimes the Mamma Mia soundtrack, which drive my headache away and makes me happy. If I am in calm mood and need to think, I listen to Air supply or Mariah Carey E=MC2. If am in good mood, I listen to Gwen Stefani albums because I love her songs.

I have been really busy the past few weeks. Everyday after school, I am busy with something with 2 courses to atttend, meetings and CCA. I only managed to get home after 6pm everyday. Then, I still have to catch up on my marking, lesson preparation and etc. Thus, I ended up with little sleep. In fact for the past 2 nights, I only managed 10 hours of sleep in total.
Today, I got home late due to the Recycling Project with my class. I am proud of my class. They did well today. I could see that the majority of them really went all out to collect old newspapers and stuff. I am glad they realised that they are contributing greatly to the environment and helping to boost to our school pocket money fund. Good work 31 !
While waiting for the pupils in the void deck, I chit-chatted with some of them. I was inspired by one of my pupils, Kwanfa. He lost 10 kg in 6 months!! Cool!!! I asked him for advice. In fact, I was so inspired that I called my hubby and told him that I would meet in the gym after work. But alas... when I got home, I thought I would just lie down for 15 mins before going to the gym. Instead, I slept all the way to 8pm. The good things is that after I woke up, I felt refreshed. :)
I finally put the finishing touches to my exam paper and I have not even started marking yet. I decided to take a break and come online to blog about my recent activities. I have been attending an interesting course, 'Learning Technologies in the Classroom by British Council.' I have learnt so much from the trainer. We were introduced to many fascinating websites that we couls use to teach English. We got to browse the websites and evaluate them. The time seemed to fly past very quickly during the course because we were all having such a good time. I have even set up my own WIKI, something which I learnt in the course yesterday. Next Tue will be my last session. However for this course, I have spent $60 for parking at Tanglin Mall which is a stone's throw from BC. We are not allowed to park at BC. sigh.. expensive yah... Parknig nowadays.

A few weeks ago, I watched 'Detriot Metal City' with my good friends and I had a superb time. The show is hilarious. It is about a nice, well-mannered man who is forced to sing in a heavy metal band where he is the lead singer. When he is portraying the role of the lead singer, he is forced to put on this persona which is so unlike him. He is forced to be mean, crude and evil.. apparently he hails from hell. He sprouts lyrics like 'I wana rape your mother, sister...' But all this is fake because he is actually a sweetheart, so a lot of comical situations arise from this quandary that he is facing. It is so hilarious... a must watch! BTW Detriot Metal City is in Jap.
Chun Li the movie was not really fantastic.. It was rather lame and a tad draggy at times. But Kirsten Kuek is really gorgeous! I wanna catch 'Hotel for Dogs' . I need to find some time for it.
Project Runway's newest season has been launched recently and I caught the first episode and it was good. I like the drama that it sometimes portray and I am always fascinated and intrigued by the outfits that are created by the wannabes.... I also enjoy Desperate Housewife. The plot is so intriguing with so many twists and turns. I always look forward to Mon- Desperate Housewife Day.
I am happy because recently I met up with some old uni church friends. In fact, I just came back from having dinner with them. It is so good to catch up. It feels like just 12 years ago when we were in the same cell group in church. Although we have changed somewhat in appearance, we haven't changed much really. We had a good time swopping gossip and laughing at one another's antics and stories. I am glad one of them even told me that my hubby has become happier and more cheerful and that I have influenced him positively. I admit my hubby and I are still very much in love despite the 9 nine years that we have been together. I guess it is important to always remember why we chose each other in the first place and also to always keep the spark alive. Laughing together and just hanging out with one another is also important.
Of course we have our trying times too but we never stay angry for too long.. I am just too lovable and cute. hee heee...
