A few weeks ago, I watched 'Detriot Metal City' with my good friends and I had a superb time. The show is hilarious. It is about a nice, well-mannered man who is forced to sing in a heavy metal band where he is the lead singer. When he is portraying the role of the lead singer, he is forced to put on this persona which is so unlike him. He is forced to be mean, crude and evil.. apparently he hails from hell. He sprouts lyrics like 'I wana rape your mother, sister...' But all this is fake because he is actually a sweetheart, so a lot of comical situations arise from this quandary that he is facing. It is so hilarious... a must watch! BTW Detriot Metal City is in Jap.
Chun Li the movie was not really fantastic.. It was rather lame and a tad draggy at times. But Kirsten Kuek is really gorgeous! I wanna catch 'Hotel for Dogs' . I need to find some time for it.
Project Runway's newest season has been launched recently and I caught the first episode and it was good. I like the drama that it sometimes portray and I am always fascinated and intrigued by the outfits that are created by the wannabes.... I also enjoy Desperate Housewife. The plot is so intriguing with so many twists and turns. I always look forward to Mon- Desperate Housewife Day.
I am happy because recently I met up with some old uni church friends. In fact, I just came back from having dinner with them. It is so good to catch up. It feels like just 12 years ago when we were in the same cell group in church. Although we have changed somewhat in appearance, we haven't changed much really. We had a good time swopping gossip and laughing at one another's antics and stories. I am glad one of them even told me that my hubby has become happier and more cheerful and that I have influenced him positively. I admit my hubby and I are still very much in love despite the 9 nine years that we have been together. I guess it is important to always remember why we chose each other in the first place and also to always keep the spark alive. Laughing together and just hanging out with one another is also important.
Of course we have our trying times too but we never stay angry for too long.. I am just too lovable and cute. hee heee...
