Bubbles gave me such a scare today. I was coming home from the gym when I saw Cal with Bubbles. He was walking her earlier because he needs to take his car to the workshop.. AGAIN. So after dinner, I just need to walk Russell.
However after dinner at my mum's place, when I was supposed to walk Russell, Bubbles wanted to join us but she has already gone for her walk! She dashed out of the house and I had no choice but to leave her at my place ( which is opposite my mum's place)
Cal then left for the car workshop not knowing that Bubbles was at home with him. So when he opened the main door, Bubbles made a run for it. I was oblivious to everything because I was walking Russell. The next thing I knew it, Cal drives over and yelled at me and told me that Bub has run off. I was flabbergasted! I rushed back home. Poor Russell.. I had to drag him home and he is old. He can't walk fast.
By the time I got to my void deck, my dad was downstairs and I gave him Russell. I then frantically yelled Bubbles' name because I know she would come bounding to me if she hears me. However, Bubbles didn't come! I ran around the neighbourhood. I realised that I can't run to save my life. Sigh... anyway.. when I ran back to my block, exhausted, my dad told me that Bubbles has been found.
My sister and her Bf were coming down to help look for Bubbles and they called out to my dad from our lift landing(4th floor). When my dad looked up, he saw Bubbles peering at him from the 3rd floor lift landing. That lazy gal.. is so used to taking the lift that she doesn't know how to take the stairs. My sis's Bf carried her home!!!! Apparently Bubbles was also in shock because when she got home she whined pitefully. My mum dropped everything to 'sayang' her.
When I got home, she rushed to me and I hugged her tightly. I was so afraid! I knew she would come back to me.. I was just worried that she might get knocked down by cars... or get trapped in a ditch!!!! Now she is safe and sound and sleeping like an angel in her bed....
