I just went to the hair salon and now I have beautiful, beautiful smooth hair. :) But, I left the salon with a backache. I sat in the chair from 3 pm to 7 pm. Sigh.. I need a massage to soothe the knot in my back. But I have to be like barbie the next few days. I can't tie my hair; I can't tuck it behind my ears and you know I am very bothered by the heat!!! I often tie my hair up. I can't stand having hair in my face! Thus I can't even go to my favourite Indonesian spa.. sigh.. now I sound like a bimbo... hahaha well who cares ;)
Anyway, I signed my guides up for the BP quest. My wonderful guides sat for the test yesterday. On Sat, we will learn about the results. Only 5 teams will get into the finals. I really hope we would be one of them. It is our first time taking part in this competition.
I just finished reading this book, 'Cry wolf' by Patricia Briggs. It is such as cool book. Once I started reading it, I couldn't put it down. It is about werewolves and the story is very fast-paced with lots of action and fascinating characters. It is also a love story and it's really sweet. I can't wait to get my hands on another of her novels. Currently, I am reading another book which I purchased some time ago: 'Neverwhere'by Neil Gailman. It is also a fantasy book about a place which is found under the streets of London where monsters, knight and weird creatures roam the place. It is just getting interesting and intriguing.
Today, there was a huge sale at all my favourite shops: Warehouse, Miss Selfridge, Topshop. I will get 40% off all purchases if I utter the word 'closet therapy' to the cashier. I was so excited but knowing me. I am just plain unlucky! I couldn't find anything. Well, it is hard to find nice clothes when your hair is falling all over your face. :( I should have look harder but I was feeling down. I always shopped with my hubby but today I was all alone. Now I miss him. It is just more fun with him around, helping me pick out clothing and carrying my bags. We will joke and I will clown around and be my blithe, childish self. Sigh.
I bought my dinner at Whampos-Century egg porridge and some veg and ate it while watching the 'Little Nonya'. I like the show although I dislike any shows about WW2. I hate to watch shows about the Japs invading Singapore. They are always so gruesome and there's bound to be rape scenes and gore. Anyway, now they are still showing the pre-jap part so I guess I will still watch it.
