Finally ! Our class play is over! All the hard work did not go to waste! Everything was perfect even though it was rather messy during rehearsals. On the actual day, everything was magic! I am so proud of them...I feel like hugging all of them!
I guess we did well because we really worked together as a team. Everyone was open to ideas and really wanted our class to succeed. The taste of success is super duper sweet.
My class was doubtful they did well but they really did. The response from the teachers was very positive. They commented that the class was very creatve, the script was well-written, the acting was good and the props people were fantastic. They even commented that the class spoke well and clearly. One of the judges, Miss Elina, said she was very impressed with the play. She said it was creative and flawless and could see that the class was very united. She even commented that the backstage crew were very efficient. I knew that the play would be a success but it was even better than I expected.
I know some of my pupils were hurt by Mrs Ismail's comments. I was too at first but I realise that she was not targeting our class. She was trying to convery the message to all the other classes. I am sure she feels that my class has done well too. I am going to clarify with her tomorrow. 5B, dun be disheartened. You have really done very well! I believe you can do everything and anything if you set your heart to it! You have even outperformed some of the other classes.
Now that the class play is over, it's time to concentrate on your studies. An aggregate of L1B4 of 15 points is achieveable but you must work really hard! You must aim to score a distinction for at least all your subjects. If you start now, you can do it. You must be determined and not get distracted by other things .You must persevere and pay attention to your studies! I know you can do it if you believe in yourself and quit being playful.
I spent a lot of time planning the seating arrangement. I know some of you are resentful but I have your interests at heart. I need you to be less distracted and playful and so I have separated all the talkatives one and tried to pair the weaker ones with the the stronger pupils. I dun have any kids and I treat you like my own! I really want to see you do well. As I was driving home today, I realise I have grown to really love and care for you guys! All of you are my babies and it will break my heart if you dun achieve and taste academic success! Dun let me down please!
