I am tired. I have so much WORK and this is a busy week for me. I have tons to mark, a musical to attend(so looking forward to it :), Guides Thinking day and I haven't bought my hubby's birthday present. sigh!!!! The sweltering heat is also giving me headaches; even the mighty panadol can't cure them!
Today, I stayed back with my class to work on the class play and I had so much fun (despite having a terrble headache). Zong Da is a perfect match for Li Tok Kong. He is really sporting and really made us laugh so hard. I am also immensely proud of my class. I have helped my classes with their class plays before but this is the first time I had almost full attendance( except or one no show) at a rehearsal! This is what I called Class unity and spirit. I am reall happy! Even when they had minor roles, they stayed back without complaints and were very good-spirited. We must learn to be patient with one another, give support and avoid giving harsh negative, hurtful words. Also we must put aside our egos. If someone has a brilliant suggestion, we should hear them out. Remember the ultimate goal is to stage a brilliant, exciting, funny play. It is not an aveune for us to show off and order people around. Also even if you have a minor role, you must put in your best because if you dun act well, everyone can see itl!
Anyway I am really pleased with 5B. I can sense that I have a better rapport with them now. The class spirit is stronger. Now all they have to do is to study harder and pay attention in class. Some of the pupils are still playful and not serious about their studies. I hope they will realise the importance of studying persistently hard for the whole year!
