Hey hey it's Thinking day! Can you imagine I have the same birthday as the founders of Girl Guides. Thus, guess what I have to don the Guider uniform every year on my Bday!I wish I can wear something prettier... It's my day u know.
22/2 - Anyway I had a hard day at school. I was so busy, scrambling for time to finish writing my pupils' testimonial that I had to skip going out for lunch( something that I really enjoy). I had to get my pals to buy lunch for me. I was so stressed out becos any mistake on the testimonial will cost me $50 and I am not the most careful person on the planet.. sigh Also,
I had a meeting to rush to so I had very little time. I dun know why but whenever it's my birthday, I would be stressed out becos there are always so many deadlines on my birthday and instead of enjoying my day, I am scrambling to finish my work.
Fortunately my colleagues took some time out to celebrate my birthday with me despite our busyness. It was really sweet. It felt good to just take some time albeit a very short 10 min revelling in the joy of having your pals celebrate your birthday. Also, I received a really cool and beautiful watch for my B day. Love it :) I shall post some pictures of it soon.
On Sat 23/2, my good old pals from JC celebrated me and my hubby's birthday( he is born 2 days after me so I am older and WISER) at a nice restaurant,Picotin(my pals treated us to dinner).. quite a nice place with nice food but it took a LONG time for them to serve us our food. Luckily, the pizzas were really delectable.. yummy.. After our dinner, we went to Holland V to sip tea and play our favourite game SAboteur.. It's a ultra addictive and cool game that requires one to strategise and fool one's enemy. It's the IT game at the moment. We love that game! We played till 1 am before calling it a day. oh yah and Junie and Gee were so sweet. They got us really lovely gifts. I will post pictures of all my presents soon.
On 24/2 which was my hubby's Bday, we went to the gym then to Vivo for some shopping. didn't buy much except a a blouse which cost $49. It's such a steal;It used to cost $89.. :)
At night, we were supposed to visit the Night Safari but my hubby had work to complete so we opted to stay at home instead. My parents treated us to a nice dinner at Pow Sim and gave us red packets.. ka ching!!!!
What a busy weekend for me but I really had a good time :)
