I have been sick. Dr says it is a viral infection. It left me feeling feverish. I felt so cold. I had to wear socks to bed. Also, I felt so tired- fatigue. I slept from 8.oo am to 2.00pm. Poor doggies.. They didn't have their breakfast because of me. They have been staying with me because my parents are in China visiting some relatives! My relatives in China make bras! I sometimes send my worn out bras for them to do their so called Research and development.. more like copy N Copy! However, I dun like their bras.. very itchy the material! not at all comfortable.
Anyway, today I was finally well enough to go back to school. I brought 33 to the AVa room as their class com is down and I needed them to listen to some tracks for reading aloud purposes. I think they were quite well-behaved except for some gals who were not really serious about their work.. I had to remind them to 'read read'.. But i didn't lose my temper because eventually they got down to serious business! The boys were more well-behaved today and were seen conscientiously reading! Good work. Adil is a fantastic reader- articulate, fluent and expressive. I hope he will do well in the other components as well. I must listen to some others tomorrow. Today, I tested Nat, Yi qing, Laura and Eunice. They were not too bad ( at least not monotonous)but they can do a lot better.
I brought all three dogs to Bishan park by myself today. What a feat! It was really difficult and the park was crowded(teeming with workers busying themselves with setting up stuff) because of some major event that was happening on 3 nov. A lot of tents were set up and new gardens started sprouting out from nowhere. I guess the organisers must be expecting some big shots on Sat.
Anyway, I had to clear dog poo while trying to restrain Bubbles who as usual can't wait to get into the dog run. There she played with a jack russel who was rather fiesty. He lost his temper and started picking a fight with Russell who was a tad shocked. Bub joined in the fight but all of them were so cowardly. They were actually scared of the puny jack russell who was half their size! The ownerr apologised profusely, telling me that his 'nelly' is rather aggressive...
I drove my dad's car... I was so not used to it. It was like driving a bumper car... so slow and powerless!!! and his mirrors are weird.. felt giddy after peering into them. But I need to sacrifice.. my car can't accomodate all my dogs and my hubby was not around.
