I went to the Botanic gardens with Gee, Joy, Cal, Bub, Jobi and Russell yesterday. We went there because Gee wanted to learn to take nice shots from Joy who is an avid photographer. But duhh.. Gee forgot to charge her camera. LOL. Anyway the park was really beautiful and serene. We met some other doggies there . That got Bub really excited but too bad Russell and Jobi couldn't go anyway near the doggies because Russell is really aggressive when he is on the leash.. We couldn't allow them to roam free because it is not allowed in Botanic Gardens. I met this hottie from Queen band, Dragonfly. Well, I think it is him... I think he is cute but my friends think otherwise.
At night, we went to Marina Square to get my topshop privilege card. I am really mad with them. It is still not ready. Then why send me a letter informing me to collect it from Dorothy Perkins. When I went to DP, they told me they dun have it and asked me to go to Topshop. I walked there and the saleslady said she didn't have it too.. This is the fifth time I have visited the shop and they told me that my card is not ready and guess what... I submitted my application on 11 Feb 2007. It has been so long and my card IS STILL NOT READY... This is extremely infuriating. The sales lady from topshop took down my hp no because she said that that the sales lady from DP will call me shortly. I was in the dressing room when they called. Apparently, they only rang once and they immediately put down the phone. My hubby was irate! He was holding the phone all the while. Before he could answer the phone, they have hanged up! He called them and gave them a good scolding! It was so loud. The Topshop store supervisor came over and intervened. He apologised profusely and told us he would look into the matter. We looked at incredulously and told him we heard this line upmteen times... no use. He assured us that he would do his best.. WHATEVER man...
Anyway he said he would settle the matter by Tues. If he still doesn't call, I am writing in to Wing Tai Asia to complain!!!! I am such a loyal customer.. Is that how they treat loyal customers.
Fortunately, we had a superb dinner at WARAKU -a jap restaurant( same floor as K box) that serves delicious pasta. Yummy..I had seafood pasta which is not too bad. Cal had prawn pesto which is rather yummy too. However, the pizza is really delicious.. with huge scallops and succulent prawns on cheese layered crunchy crust.
